WiFi in the garden, a necessity

It sounds exaggerated, but I like having WiFi in the garden. I can enjoy the sun and write an article or answer my email at the same time.
The first time we sat on our new terrace, the WiFi range was somewhat disappointing.
We have a terrace at the very back of our garden. This terrace is in the sun for most of the evening. So nice to sit there in the evening with a drink and the laptop.
Unfortunately I had virtually no reception. I could not connect to the internet on either the laptop or the iPad. Well, reading a book in the garden bores me quite quickly. So a solution had to be found quickly.
Outdoor Access Point
To solve this problem, we now have an internet access point, especially for outdoor use.
The great thing about the brand I chose, Ubiqitui, is that it is not a consumer product. It is a professional brand. This does mean that you have to install software on a computer to manage the access points, but the big advantage is that the quality, speed, stability and manageability are much greater than with a consumer product.
The Unifi Mesh makes it possible to quickly expand your internet range, because you can not only use the access point via a fixed network connection, but also wirelessly. In the latter case, the Mesh connects to another access point via a separate connection and retransmits this signal. This means you always have an access point nearby.
The access point is now temporarily attached to the house, but as soon as there is a hutch near the terrace it will be moved. This has already been taken into account: There is a conduit from the terrace to the house, as soon as a network cable can be pulled through it.
The speed has already improved. This allows me to sit in the garden and work or watch a movie.
