[Video Friday] Femme Taken his automated farmhouse

Today, on our Video Friday, we have a video from Tweakers founder Femme Taken on how he automated his monumental farmhouse. The following quote is from Tweakers:

What do a historical farmhouse and technology have in common? At first glance, very little, but leave it to Tweakers founder Femme Taken to be the exception to the rule. In 2007, he bought a monumental building in the Achterhoek, which was completely revamped over a period of five years. The place where the cows used to stand transformed into a living room full of sensors, and the space above the original box beds now serves as the technical heart.

Inspired by clubs and restaurants, Femme also got busy with smart lighting. Much of his other work is more difficult to perceive with the eye, as the system largely does its job invisibly. Things like underfloor heating, lighting, and garden irrigation are self-regulating, thanks to an innumerable number of rules of self-written code.
