Use your knowledge, help others

When you have knowledge about a certain subject, it is often nice to share it with other people. Of course that also applies to me. During my idle hours I could regularly be found on the Experts Exchange site.
Experts Exchange is an English-language site for and by experts in the field of everything related to automation.
The nice thing about this site is that you can help people who have problems with their computer, network, internet connection and so on.
It just feels good when you have been able to help someone.
You can also ask your question here if you need help yourself. A large team of (voluntary) experts will then try to help you answer your question.

Other sites
In addition to Experts Exchange, there are more sites where you can help people with your knowledge. Consider Quora , VMware communities and Event ID . Even though I haven’t posted any information on the latter for a long time, I’m still in the top 10 of top contributors .
Ultimately, I enjoy helping people with my knowledge, or helping them find and gain that knowledge themselves. I do that on sites, as you can see. But I also do that ‘in person’. I think it is just as important that you can gain that knowledge than that I do.
