For everyone who would like to have their own SAN (Storage Area Network) at home but has a bit of a problem with the price of such things: Build your own..

By using an old computer, Linux, and iSCSI, this is now possible for everyone. Imagine: Your own SAN in your fuse box. As soon as you have disk space issues, you simply add another disk and ‘on the fly’ you have extra space on the connected computers.
