One of the big advantages (in my view) is that the graphical environment is built on PowerShell, which means all actions performed from the graphical environment are converted into a command executed by PowerShell.

This has another significant benefit. If certain functionality is not available in the graphical environment, it can often still be executed from the PowerShell command line. Even in the case where the commands are not present by default, they are often added in the form of scripts (commandlets) or DLLs.

In addition, Outlook Web Access 2007 (OWA) has been revamped. Two notable features are access to multiple mailboxes simultaneously and localization. With this, OWA has become a full-fledged replacement for the desktop version of Outlook.

Also back is the ability to create a mailbox for resources and equipment, as was possible in Exchange 5.5.

The integration with telephone exchanges also offers new possibilities. This makes it possible to have your emails read out via telephone and respond to them. It is also possible to move appointments in your calendar simply by calling your calendar and indicating that you are running late or want to move the appointment. Automatically, the participants in this meeting will also have their appointment time adjusted.
